Register at: https://lnkd.in/gMdhw8cw
The series is completely free and is open to everyone interested in learning more about VPPs. Whether you're new to VPPs or already working in the field, this series will give you practical information and opportunities to connect and help shape the conversation around VPPs in Oregon.
Across three interactive workshops, you’ll hear from experts, engage with peers from across the energy world, and explore the goals and challenges of VPPs in our state. All workshops will be offered in a hybrid format, with options to participate in person in Portland or online.
The three workshops are:
1. What is a VPP? July 30, 9-11 am
An introduction to Virtual Power Plants, including core concepts, terminology, and lessons learned from programs operating in other states.
2. What could VPP policy look like in Oregon? August 27, 9-11 am
An exploration of potential policy pathways, design considerations, and tradeoffs for VPPs in Oregon.
3. How do we deploy a VPP locally? September 24, 9-11 am
A practical discussion about implementation opportunities and challenges, building on existing Oregon programs and resources.
