Jackie was born and raised in Portland, OR, then went on to attend the University of Oregon. She graduated in Spring 2024 with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Food Studies. During Jackie’s time at the University of Oregon she became passionate about climate change issues, conservation, food access, community building, and sustainable agriculture.

Now at Wy’East, Jackie assists rural small business owners and agricultural producers in Oregon with compiling USDA Rural Development Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant applications. You also may run into her while she is out doing educational energy outreach throughout Oregon. Jackie also leads the storytelling and social media for Wy’East. When she is not working, Jackie is likely thrifting, cooking, petting a cat, or hanging out with friends.
