Jackie was born and raised in Portland, OR, and attended the University of Oregon. She graduated in Spring 2024 with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Food Studies. During Jackie’s time at the University of Oregon she became passionate about climate change issues, conservation, food, and agriculture.

Now at Wy’East Jackie assists rural small business owners and agricultural producers in Oregon with compiling USDA Rural Development Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant applications. When she is not working, Jackie is likely thrifting, cooking, petting a cat, or hanging out with friends.
