Jackie was born and raised in Portland, OR, and went to the University of Oregon. She graduated in Spring 2024 with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Food Studies. During Jackie’s time at the University of Oregon, she became passionate about climate change issues, conservation, food, and agriculture. Jackie assists rural small business owners and agricultural producers in Oregon in compiling USDA Rural Development Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant applications. She enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, spending time outdoors, cats, and meeting new people.
